| Worcester Controls' Energy Mizer® is ideal for steam applications. Exclusive
Polyfill® and High-per Fill® seats and bottom entry stem result in bubble tight sealing to let you save on fuel and use less steam. Excessive maintenance and downtime, repacking and stem leakage often experienced with gate or globe valves used in this service are eliminated with the Energy Mizer. In fact, the Energy Mizer is backed by Worcester's 120-day money back guarantee, so you're sure to get the excellent performance you expect. Because of its leak-free operation, the Energy Mizer assures a cleaner, safer, drier environment to work in and helps you comply with the recommendations of OSHA and state inspections by providing enhanced protection from leaks or accidents.

| The Energy Mizer is available in several sizes and body styles. The 1/4" - 2" three-piece and 1/4" -
1 1/2" full port three-piece ball valves come equipped with a standard stainless steel oval handle. An optional V-48 extended
lever handle is designed to keep your hand away from hot steam lines. New OSHA requirements demand handle temperatures below
150oF. The V48 linkage is designed to rise above pipe insulation, and keeps the lever cool to meet the OSHA requirement. The rugged linkage also extends valve packing life by eliminating side load on the stem. Large three-piece, flanged and wafer versions of the Energy Mizer are also available to suit your process needs.
The Energy Mizer has a stainless steel ball as standard, but is available with a hard (nickel, TFE) coated ball for difficult services such as dirty steam. The coating makes the ball surface harder, and acts as a lubricant. For combination liquid/steam services, and those installations with condensate exposure, an upstream relief hole (code V-3) is required. The Series 32 Gear Operator allows slow opening in services where shock or steam hammer may be a factor. |
