| The Worcester Controls Series 58 is a rugged line of barstock valves for manual on/off operation in a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.
Whether the fluid is steam, gas or liquid, the Series 58 valve shuts off tight and will continue to shut off tight, even after heavy usage. There is no external leakage. The high strength barstock body and blow-out proof stem seal minimize leak paths and assure bubble tight operation. Every valve is bubble tested under water to ensure that all sealing points are properly functioning.

| Available in brass, carbon steel and stainless steel, with glass filled, reinforced PTFE seats and seals, the 58 Series valve will handle water, saturated steam, petroleum products and other fluids over a wide range of pressures and
temperatures. And all at an economy valve price.
Premium design stem, inserted from within the body, is almost identical to Worcester's widely accepted Series 44 valve. Reinforced TFE thrust and seal washers bear against shoulders machined in the valve body. A follower washer bears against the stem seal to distribute the compression force of the handle nut. The flexing belleville washer automatically compensates for normal wear as well as seal expansion and contraction from temperature fluctuations. The handle features finger-tip, quarter-turn on/off control and is designed to provide quick visual indication of valve position. A self-locking handle nut holds the handle securely to the-stem, and provides for in-service stem seal adjustment. |
