Retractable - Large Line Sizes - 2 3/8" O.D. Sensor Tube

World Class PSE Series 170, PAR 70® Heavy Duty Hot Tap Flow Sensors, like the Series 160, are designed for heavy duty service and/or large line sizes. The Series 170 Sensor can be installed without interrupting line flow, and is easily retractable and re-insertable under pressure.

The Series 170 Sensor is constructed of 2 3/8" O.D. 316 stainless steel tubing for those high flow rate and large line size applications that require this rugged construction. It's 1/2" instrument connectors are on 2 1/8" centers and a special flange and tie-rod mechanism provides the Series 170's easy withdrawal/re-insertion capability. All mounting hardware, isolation valve, isolation nipple mounting weld-o-let and flange are supplied. 

Sensor Tube: 316 S.S.

Instrument Connections: 1/2" NPT

Instrument Valves: 1/2" 5000 lb. C.S., others available.

Weld-O-Let: 3" 3000 lb. carbon steel. other ratings available.

Isolation Valve: 3" 150 lb. carbon steel flanged ball or gate valve.

Isolation Nipple: 3" type 316 S.S. 

Packing Gland Tie Rods and Flanges: 316 S.S.

Packing Seal: Graphite, S.S. wound

Gaskets: Flexitallic

Nameplate: Stainless steel and permanently stamped with necessary information.

Pressure/Temperature Rating: Flange limitation
