Worcester's Answer to your Actuation and Indication
Need. It's Time to Change the Traditional Method of On-Off Control. Why buy an actuator and add accessories to it? |
That was our customer's question. The answer is a newly designed actuator that offers all the necessary control, communication, and annunciation of system status as an integral part of the actuator. The unique, guide rod design of Worcester's Series 39 actuator makes this possible. |
| Guide rods are the supporting framework for the pistons of the Series 39 actuator. They prevent the pistons from misaligning and coming in contact with the actuator cylinder creating piston seal wear. Guide rods also prevent piston seals from uneven compression and additional wear. Each time the actuator cycles, the pistons and guide rods move. ACCESS adds to the advantages offered by the guide rod design by utilizing their movement to detect valve position.

| Incorporating limit switches and a solenoid as an integral part of the actuator proves to be an advantage because it eliminates the need for brackets, shaft couplings, nipples, and additional enclosures. All this functionality is available in one compact enclosure. | |
